Chasing My Tale is the Sewing department of Angela Pilloud’s retail and restaurant collective, Home Ec & Shop. As an independent specialty shop, we’re a community hub for thoughtfully sourced collections of fine fabrics, notions, and fiber arts supplies, along with DIY kits & gifts.

We aim to be Denver’s go-to source for aspiring and experienced fiber artists while providing welcoming, personalized service for all your projects—big and small.

Meet neighbors, create alongside fellow makers, & shop after hours every other Thursday from 5-8pm during our Community Craft Nights at the shop!

Ten quilting cotton selections from the beautiful Tilda ‘Songbird’ collection are available in the shop—the first of 3 releases for 2026.
